6.0 REQUIREMENTS

6.1 DOWNLOADING ULTICREATR UC2X SOFTWARE
• Download the Ulticreatr 2X firmware for Ultimaker 2(+) here: Ultimaker-2-Ulticreatr-2X-v1-1.hex
• Download the Ulticreatr 2X firmware for Ultimaker 2 Extended(+) here: Ultimaker-2Extended-Ulticreatr-2X-v1-1.hex
• Download the printer pre-check gcode here: UC2X-precheck-v1-0.gcode
• Download the printer XY calibration here: UC2X-xy-cal-v1-4.gcode
6.2 INSTALLING FIRMWARE
• Connect the 3D printer to a PC/MAC and make sure it is turned on.
• Open Cura and press: Machine > Install custom firmware.
• Select the previously downloaded firmware and press OK.
• Wait for the firmware to be loaded and then disconnect the Ultimaker.
